The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to jumpstart your sales career in the healthcare technology field. We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Representative who will play a key role on our sale’s team, supporting the strong drive for sales, revenue and growth. This person will have an immediate and highly visible impact on the overall success of the company.

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who is comfortable prospecting new business opportunities and connecting with key decision makers. You will be goal-driven; responsible for identifying, prioritizing and developing relationships with new and existing customers to cultivate referrals, prospect leads and develop new business. Success in this role is measured by consistently hitting and exceeding targets and building industry relationships to provide market knowledge to the team.

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Prospecting new lead and developing new business opportunities, primarily those leads that come through our website. 
  • Arranging virtual business meetings via email, phone, online or screen-sharing meetings with prospective and current customers.
  • Providing outstanding customer service while working to build long-term relationships with new potential customers.
  • Conducting research and identifying new markets and opportunities.
  • Developing and executing on a growth strategy,
  • Contribute to product marketing and development effort through constructive field feedback through sales engineering team.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Working collaboratively with regional Account Managers to understand regional business drivers.

What will you bring:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in an outbound or BD sales role.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • You’re a highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual who can hit the ground running.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, flexible to changing requirements as the business develops.
  • Experience prospecting and with CRM tools an asset.
  • You are committed to building a career in sales in the healthcare technology field and are looking for a company where you can grow and learn.
  • Valid passport and driver's licence for business related travel to the US, Canada and EU (in the future, if and when necessary.
