OfficeTeam is working closely with our client in the Foreign Exchange industry, is seeking a Sales Manager to join their growing team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the main revenues generating areas of the business. This great opportunity is in the Toronto, Ontario area and is a full-time position. The Sales Manager’s daily responsibilities may include, but is not limited to the following:

  • Monitor effectiveness of strategies in line with performance and adapting necessary
  • Implementing an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process
  • Ensure that the sales teams all meet their weekly/monthly/quarterly sales target
  • Ensure the client databases are being used effectively and provide a competitive advantage
  • Weekly meetings with Director to assess company performance
  • Ensuring the teams are managed effectively to allow sales members to progress through the business and teams and overseeing performance management
  • Promptly report conduct breaches or potential conduct breaches and provide confidential assistance to investigate and escalate as appropriate
  • Assist in the organization of regular training to ensure their team members understand all of the appropriate company policies and processes with regard to regulation
  • Actively participating in regular Sales Audits and Risk Assessments
  • Oversight of all direct reports and all department activity


  • 7 or more years of relevant experience
  • Formal Sales Training, preferably within Financial Services
  • CSI Certificate in Derivate Markets Strategies Program is an asset
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Fluency in other European languages is desirable
  • Ability to lead and motivate others
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
  • Strong judgement and problem-solving skills
