Organizational Change Manager

On behalf of our client in Regina SK, Procom is looking for an Organizational Change Manager for a three year contract in Regina, SK.

Organizational Change Manager Job Details

  • Work with the e-Justice project management team to integrate change management activities into the project work plan.
  • Work with various specialty ministry units (i.e. Communications, Human Resources, Strategic Systems and Innovation, etc.) in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support project implementation.
  • Ensure corporate knowledge transfer to ministry resources and ensure internal capacity is developed to allow ministry resources to leverage OCM practices on eJustice.
  • Produce OCM deliverables on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Ensure conflict is handled and members are recognized for effort.
  • Identify changes to resource requirements.

Organizational Change Manager Job Duties:

  • Apply a structured change management approach and methodology to manage the change caused by the e-Justice initiative.
  • Develop a change management strategy based on the details of the change and the groups being impacted.
  • Develop a targeted and actionable change management plan, including communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching and training plan, and resistance management plan.
  • Perform a stakeholder assessment and engagement review, identify potential OCM risks and anticipated point of resistance, and develop plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
  • Transition to operations plan development and delivery
  • Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and concise manner.
  • Be an active and visible coach to executive sponsors and leaders who are change sponsors for the project.

Organizational Change Manager Must Have Skills

  • Demonstrated experience successfully creating and leading OCM activities on a large scale, multi-million dollar complex organization change effort.
  • Change Management Professional Certification (e.g. Prosci).
  • Willingness to work up to full-time (40-hour work week), onsite at a provincial government office in Regina, Saskatchewan, in accordance with return to work protocols of the Ministry.
  • Demonstrated experience at a senior level on at least one large complex project that involved implementing major transformational changes to staff, business systems, and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior-level executives and demonstrated ability communicating with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence people through a change, while building and encouraging teamwork in an environment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully delivering: change management plans, stakeholder engagement assessments, readiness assessments, training plans, communications plan, etc.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with proven experience working, influencing and communicating effectively (both verbal and written) with all levels within an organization.

Organizational Change Manager Nice to Have Skills

  • Demonstrated Business Analysis experience and knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience and knowledge is considered an asset.
