Agilus is currently recruiting for Mechanical Technologist for our client located in the Hamilton, ON Area.  This position is starting off as a 6 month.  



•        Assembly of products using standard shop procedures, mechanical drawings, and other written or verbal instructions.

•        Assemble and test precision high-reliability electro-mechanical products and prototypes.

•        Perform repairs on production equipment.

•        Provide input of design requirements and drawings.

•        Provide input to specifications and procedures.

•        Accountable for mechanical portions of system or tooling building.

•        Participates in the commissioning of prototype and production machines.

•        Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

•        Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

•        Strong verbal and written communication skills

•        Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills

•        Strong multi-tasker

•        Experience in Microsoft applications, computer software and hardware


•        3-5 years’ experience in tooling and mechanical equipment is required

•        Mechanical Technologist Diploma or equivalent is required

•        A mechanical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical drawings and bills of materials is required

•        Knowledge of quality control tools is required

•        Experience building and soldering wire assemblies is an asset
