As a key member of our Brampton Parts Distribution Center, you will provide leadership and direction to employees in the warehouse by encouraging strong employee relations, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring quality standards are met. You will be responsible for managing and prioritizing warehouse activities; monitoring, measuring and reporting data integrity; and effectively and efficiently coordinating and assigning resources.  

  • Maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.
  • Oversee all warehouse related processes and ensure the timely completion of daily tasks by warehouse team.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to ensure process efficiencies and optimization - applying LEAN principals.
  • Conduct employee meetings and communicate with other departments to ensure information exchange.
  • Maintain and review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support warehouse process measurements.
  • Monitor maintenance schedules of all warehouse operating equipment as per scheduled programs.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Operations Manager on special projects or warehouse processes/issues that impact the warehouse or customer service.
  • Assist in the quality assurance inspection process of incoming goods to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Perform shipping and receiving audits on shipments of goods entering or leaving the facility.
  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline and/or APICS certification is preferred 
  • Five years of leadership experience in a distribution/warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of warehouse operating equipment
  • Adept with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
  • Advanced organizational, multi-tasking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to converse in a professional manner in both written and verbal communication 
  • Working experience in Oracle ERP system is preferred
  • Motivated self-starter with capabilities to work within a fast-paced team oriented environment
