Financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting will be among your duties as Senior Accountant. Key responsibilities

- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

- Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives

- Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions

- Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

- Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

- Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

- Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

- When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests

- Self-starter and strong ethical standards

- Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes

- Excellent attention to detail

- Efficient in ERP systems

- Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

- 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

- Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

- Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued

- SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience

- Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

- Adeptness in Microsoft Excel

- Quarterly Taxes experience highly preferred

- Operation auditing experience

- Audit Compliance experience

- CaseWare experience desired

- Deep understanding of auditing

- Practical knowledge of Quarter-end

- General familiarity with CPA Designation

- Demonstrated knowledge of CPA

- ProFile experience preferred

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
