Our client in Stoney Creek is looking for the immediate assistance of a HR Manager to join their team. Reporting to the CFO, the HR Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources. Ideally this individual will come from the Steel or Fabrication industry.

The responsibilities of HR Manager may include but are not limited to:

*Maintain job descriptions, post positions, prescreen and recruit for hourly and salary

*Prepare employment contracts for new hires

*Prepare internal promotions and employment contract changes

*Benefit Program Management

*Provide guidance and counselling to managers and employees

*Manage all WSIB claims, investigations and return to work plans and reporting

*Oversee and manage probations and performance reviews.

*First point of contact for group benefits and WSIB

*Lead hand in comprehensive health and safety, employee policies, procedures and ensure Compliance Company wide

*Work collaboratively with Internal Managers

*Oversee Health and Safety

*Compliances

The ideal candidate sought for this full-time position will have 10 plus years’ experience in a similar role.
