Compensation: $90000.00 to $105000.00 yearly
POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Systems Analyst’s role is to plan and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve systems/software application issues through careful testing to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives.
The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to IT systems and/or business process needs. In this role you will work alongside functional subject matter experts as the IT Business Systems lead during User Acceptance testing and validation of in-house developed ERP applications and other in-house proprietary information system launches.
The Business Systems Analyst uses modelling tools to document the current state of business processes as well as the desired future state. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the knowledge transfer of business requirements and their implications to the application/database developers project managers and/or as part the RFP process for packaged software selection.

Formal Education & Certification
• Completion of a University degree in business administration, computer science, or management information systems and 7+ years related work experience.
Knowledge & Experience
• Proven experience in overseeing the analysis of functional requirements, custom application development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 R2/R3 OR 365 ERP software (required) and Logility Halo BI reporting systems (desired). Preference will be given to candidates with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 experience.
• Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows 10.
• Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Proven experience in the operation and analysis of SQL database software, and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
