Job Description:

UPS is the world’s largest courier company. We are currently looking to fill a permanent part-time Warehouse Scanner position. UPS offers competitive wages benefits pension plan employee stock purchasing plans and promotion from within opportunities.

Shift Times: 1:00AM, 10:30AM, 4:00PM (flexibility required) Shifts are 3-5 hours.

Must be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.

Work Location: 5325 Rhodes Drive Windsor ON

Job Responsibilities:

• The UPS Warehouse Scanner is responsible for auditing and processing domestic and air packages to ensure they meet customs requirements.

• Auditing packages pulling paperwork confirming proper documentation is with the package for customs and running various report

• Scanning documentation and using UPS computer and scanning systems

• Able to type 40WPM and strong computer skills

• Working in a warehouse environment – hot and cold

• Able to lift up to 70lbs unassisted

• Working Monday to Friday start time between 10:00am (shifts are 3-5 hours in length 5 shifts a week)

Compensation:

• $14.00 an hour to start. Performance based increases every 12 months

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Key entry speed of  a minimum of 7000 characters per hour

• Accuracy with a maximum of 2% mistakes

• Bilingual

Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of  OPSYS system
