As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will be responsible for supporting and executing corporate and team strategies. You will provide employee guidance, mentoring and customer service-related task assignments and coordination.

  • Support and assist in monitoring and balancing the workloads within the team along with assigning and coordinating related customer service tasks.    
  • Evaluate assigned Customer Service Representatives performance by creating annual performance reviews, coaching, mentoring and coordinating training requirements and opportunities in collaboration with the Customer Service Manager. Assist in hiring and training of staff.    
  • Conduct a pre-visit call/meeting with the team to review any customer open issues, final expectations, deliverables worksheet for presentation on customer visits.
  • Conduct bi-weekly team meetings providing customer analytics on revenue performance to budget and adjust strategy for sales growth if necessary.    
  • Conduct monthly employee touch point meetings to review customer performance, outstanding tasks and employee/team concerns.    
  • Coordinate the development of annual customer sales plans and revenue budgets with input from the customer team with final approval of the Customer Service Manager and VP of Customer Service.    
  • Review report on customer contract items and upcoming escalations in conjunction with Customer Service Representative.    
  • Review bus build schedule and establish new customer strategies, visiting schedules, recommended stocking list and provisioning requirements are scheduled.

  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline and/or equivalent experience
  • Proven leadership experience with displayed ability to train and mentor individuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels throughout the organization
  • Ability to find solutions to problems using creativity, critical thinking and reasoning 
  • Adept in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to influence change within the organization by leveraging leadership skills and technics
  • Possess strong organizational skills, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Acquired and maintained knowledge of existing bus and coach equipment
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask, effectively prioritize and work efficiently in a high demanding fast paced work environment  
  • Basic knowledge of the transit industry and vehicles systems would be considered an asset
  • Experience of Oracle systems and processes would be considered an asset
