Our Value Advisory Group

The Industry and Value Advisory group brings together strategic thinking, project management, and technology to help shape the transformation agenda for senior HR and business leaders. We work with our customers' executive teams and cross-functional teams within Ceridian to solve complex organizational and business problems to help grow their business. 

The opportunity 

Reporting to [ Link removed ]  our Global Head of Sales Strategy and GTM, we have a newly created opportunity for a leader for a Global VP, Industry and Value Advisory to spearhead the growth, direction, and work of the Advisory teams. In this role, you will drive and build a transformative approach to the value advisory sales framework, influencing our global sales and growth. 

This is an exciting opportunity to introduce and implement best practices and processes ensuring harmonization, growth, and success across all regions. It's a chance to define a leadership role, scale-up a team, build infrastructure, and make a measurable impact on our growth as a sales organization and a company.

You have built and led a team to leverage technology and business insights to convey value to enterprise clients.

Working closely with presales, sales, product, and product marketing, you will partner with transformative leaders and team members alike who are ready to roll up their sleeves and get involved in the details. 

As our new Global, VP Industry and Value Advisory, you will:

  • Define Dayforce's value proposition to our prospects. You will shape enterprise prospects' understanding of the vision and where they can go with Ceridian, from the economic commitment to the operational and administrative benefits. You will create and execute a strategy in partnership with sales to service prospects, developing a platform for change to successfully drive the engagement forward.
  • Scale-out the Value Advisory's organization and transform the Industry Advisory team. You will leverage insights and expertise to create a strategy that emphasizes the team's importance in the Global Sales Organization. You will drive and successfully lead the Industry and Value Advisory team against measurable set targets, goals, and objectives. You will ensure quality and consistency of deliverables produced by the team, including the development of end to end content for compelling solution frameworks and the business benefits of our solution for customers.
  • Create an apprenticeship framework and foster an environment of continuous learning. You will lead and train the team and all key stakeholders across Ceridian on value-based selling and value management, including discovery, value analysis, creation and revision, messaging, industry research/benchmarking, and executive presentation. You will mentor and provide professional development guidance to your team, ensuring engagement and opportunities to achieve professional excellence.
  • Foster a community of collaboration and knowledge sharing. You will work with Global Heads, and internal departments such as sales, marketing, product, and services to spearhead the design and delivery of exceptional messaging, direction, and publications that convey our product's reach. You will use data, expertise, and personal interactions to provide feedback and suggestions. You will monitor and identify trends spanning our customers’ needs to develop new solution combinations of products, services, and training offerings.

What you bring:

  • The education and experience. You have a Bachelor's degree and ideally, a postgraduate degree (MBA, CFA, CPA, etc.). You have 10+ years of progressive professional experience in technology solutions, including leading a global team, ideally with exposure to enterprise clients. You have a minimum of 5 years of value advisory or management consulting.
  • The business strategy insights. You have a proven ability to develop and maintain strong client and partner relationships that will cultivate business opportunities and value for the client, the knowledge of business models, operating models, cost-benefit analysis, and risk management. An understanding of value selling processes and methodology is an asset.
  • The team leadership and interpersonal skills. You can inspire and motivate teams with your hands-on technical expertise, coaching skills, and willingness to roll up your sleeves to help solve challenging problems in a fast-paced environment. You can confidently build networks and nurture relationships within teams, peers, clients, and senior leadership. You have outstanding communication, negotiation, and prioritization skills. You can balance needs and requirements, generate consensus, pivot to respond to needs, and work through ambiguity.
