Elements Casino Chilliwack is on the lookout for energetic, upbeat, outgoing, and detail-oriented individuals for the position of Card Dealer who want to accelerate their career in our Table Games Department. Are you a team player who enjoys interacting and entertaining guests? Then this could be the job for you! No previous card dealing experience is needed, training will be provided for successful candidates. It is possible to make more than $20.00 per hour (including tips)! This position requires schedule flexibility including evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exceptional guest service while conducting all games in a precise, efficient, and secure manner
- Maintain game integrity; monitor game limits and cash/value transactions
- Exchanging customer cash and promotional vouchers for equivalent value chips
- Controlling the order of play; closing bets at the appropriate time; maintaining table security
- Handle complimentary guest requests
- Liaise and communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership, and employees)
- Performing other duties as assigned or directed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma required, post-secondary education an asset
- Strong communication and mathematical skills
- Manual dexterity and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to adapt and work a flexible schedule
- Proven excellent guest service and people skills
- Professional attitude and appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player
- Ability to successfully obtain a Serving it Right license
- Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)

Elements Casino Chilliwack provides a comprehensive training program for potential candidates. Courses are conducted by Great Canadian and are designed to exceed the highest standards of the gaming industry. This rigorous training will position candidates to understand the complexity of games, become exceptional Dealers and encourages self-motivation to help you accelerate your career to the next level.
100% attendance for the entire course, as well as additional study at home is crucial to successfully complete the course. Passing the course is a condition of on-going permanent employment as a dealer with Great Canadian.
