An exciting maternity leave contract opportunity exists to join a vibrant, successful real estate development company. As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

* Prepare detailed financial analysis and projections for commercial real estate projects, including development assets and income properties;
* Be a key interface between the Finance department and commercial teams, including interpreting and evaluating needs;
* Monitor real estate projects, and assist in debt financing and equity raising activities, and correspond with lenders;
* Synthesize and frame financial analysis for senior management and present findings & recommendations including sensitivity & scenario analysis;
* Provide ad hoc analytical support to support key decisions & business development opportunities;
* Prepare medium and long-term cash flow and profitability forecasts for the corporate group and individual projects or entities;
* Partner with the Development team to maintain a rolling forecast and scenario analysis model for a 10-year flagship project;
* Assist with reporting to Development Partners and forecasting profit distributions.
* Manage & coach staff.
To be considered for this position, you are a designated CPA, CFA or MBA with exceptional FP&A and real estate experience. You have 5+ years of work experience and have the following skills and experience:

* Provent cash flow forecasting & projections, financial analysis, financial modeling and corporate financing experience
* Strong understanding of accounting concepts and very good grasp of IRR and NPV
* Ability to distill large amounts of date and present findings
* Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively influence and interact with senior executives and Boards
* Strong PowerPoint and business presentation skills to senior management
* Agile and strong business acumen
* Solid work ethic
* Great attention to detail and can provide quality work
* Advanced Excel skills
