Product Owner (Remote)

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 2 years of experience in product management as a Product Owner or Product Manager or in a product-related role within a development team
  • Strong background in usability and/or software development and architecture
  • Experience working in a Lean/Agile environment with a focus on Scrum, XP and Kanban methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, computer science, information management systems or a closely related field
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Team-first mentality
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to articulate the big picture
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) training
  • Ability to deliver solutions iteratively

Job Summary

The Product Owner is responsible for aligning to product visions and prioritizing what we deliver within a Lean/Agile development team environment. This talented and passionate team member inspires innovation and helps teams develop solutions that focus on delivering value.  


  • Drive the vision and definition of the product
  • Know why we’re building the product, its audience and what problem it will solve
  • Represent the voice of the client
  • Ensure the Development team works on the right things from the stakeholder’s perspective
  • Understand the business, technology and process context in which a product delivers value
  • Write new user stories, ensuring that acceptance criteria is met when code is complete
  • Drive release planning and forecasting
  • Regularly communicate with every product stakeholder
  • Share insights throughout the company regarding the product
  • Engage with our User Experience team to define requirements for how a prospective user interacts with the product
