Robert Half is currently looking for an articulate, highly-skilled Bilingual Customer Service Specialist for a client in the non-profit industry located in Ottawa, ON.

How you will make an impact:

  • Deliver outstanding, friendly customer service
  • Manage phone system and handle a large volume of calls
  • Book appointments
  • Provide customers accurate information
  • Handle email communications
  • Become an information specialist and keep up to date on regulations and best practices
  • Perform system and office maintenance
  • Maintain digital files
  • Produce accurate reports, records, and other forms as required
  • Onboard, train, and supervise staff as required
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) or equivalent
  • Foundational knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
  • Customer service experience desired
  • Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
  • Proficient with computers and technology platforms
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office knowledge required
  • Customer service and office administrative skills
  • 1+ years' experience of proven performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment desired
  • Proven experience going the extra mile to solve complex customer inquiries via extensive research
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers
  • Success-driven attitude and an engaging business-like approach
