NFI buses and motor coaches incorporate the widest range of drive systems available including: clean diesel, natural gas, diesel-electric hybrid, and zero-emission electric (trolley, battery, and fuel cell).  In total, NFI now supports over 105,000 buses and coaches currently in service around the world. 

As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will assist in the regular monthly financial close process and other special project as assigned.
  • Assist with monthly financial close process within a 5-day timeline.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policy manuals.
  • Assist in the consolidation of financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of public financial statements including note disclosures.
  • Understand/develop relationships with other Business Units, including providing advice and corporate positions.
  • Prepare reconciliations of assigned account and related reports.
  • Analyze information and work with data owners to maximize shareholder returns.
  • Assist management in budget reviews throughout the year and identification of cost savings opportunities.
  • Assist in regular internal and external audits.
  • Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • To provide support in various financial reporting initiatives, as required.

  • CPA
  • Accounting/Auditing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office - Excel Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in Consolidation tools (Oracle, EPM/Hyperion) is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and possess initiative to seek improvements.
  • Motivated self-starter with capabilities to work within a fast-paced team oriented environment.
  • Travel 5%
