Position Summary:

As a UPS part-time warehouse clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customer’s packages are handled safely and efficiently by package auditing, keying the package information into our system, and repacking whenever necessary. This is a physical, fast-paced job that involves lifting, lowering, and sliding packages that typically weigh up to 70 lbs. You are required to have a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm with a 90% accuracy and good attention to details.

Job Type: Part-Time - Permanent

Work Location:  3195 Airway Drive, Mississauga, ON L4V 1C2

Workdays: Monday to Friday

Shift Start: 4:00AM/5:00AM

Shift Duration: (3-6 hours per day) *Flexibility is required with both the start and finish times.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Address corrections regarding packages
• Re-package parcels
• Perform package damage inspections
• Change delivery requests
• Perform other requests assigned by the management

Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) without assistance
• Ability to type 30 WPM at 90% accuracy rate
• Full availability to work Monday to Friday (all five days of the week)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly time-sensitive, and physically demanding environment
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Warehouse experience (would be considered an asset)

Expenses:

• A criminal background check fee of $20.50 (will be deducted from your pay and reimbursed after 90 working days with UPS)
