As a UPS Business Analyst, you are a problem solver that enables the organization to achieved its goals and bring value to our UPS teams and customers!

About this role:

TheBusiness Systems Analyst Associateis an junior Business Analyst who develop business and functional work products to support new projects and existing applications for the organization. He/She engages in Business Systems Analysis (BSA) teamwork on strategic projects with a high level of quality and adherence to organizational standards. This position contributes to project teams to achieve quality deliverables. This position contributes in the development of BSA work products, standards, process improvements, and defect resolution. He/She contributes to Information Technology projects to ensure the completion of deliverables for small projects or components of larger projects.

TheBusiness Systems Analysis (BSA) Associatesupports Information Services (I.S.) BSA processes with close guidance and supervision. He/She assists BSA team members to identify problems, generate alternatives, and recommend solutions within defined processes. This position participates in the elicitation and analysis of business needs by BSA teams for assigned projects. The BSA Associate documents the progress of assigned tasks to ensure objectives are met, and assists in ensuring that BSA work products conform to quality and content standards. He/She supports requirements elicitation, analysis, and management for efforts of all complexity levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge with Agile Business Analysis, Business Process Analysis, Structured Systems Analysis, Agile Development, Requirements Analysis, User Stories and User Story Prioritization
  • Effective communication, organization skills, ability to work on highly complex projects with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge with Agile and Scrum Concepts, Requirements Elicitation and Active Listening
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience - Preferred
