Reporting to the Director of People & Training, here’s what our new Technical Talent Advisor will do:

  • Learn the client’s culture and hiring criteria through role discovery and analysis sessions with key stakeholders. 
  • Research the companies hiring needs and technical requirements to find where the right candidates might “live” and how to attract them.
  • Build talent pools and influence social media content and strategies to attract the right candidates.
  • Screen and interview candidates assessing for technical knowledge and values fit and providing a stellar candidate experience.
  • Did we mention that you will provide a high standard of candidate experience? We care a lot about candidates and their experience and measure it like an NPS.
  • Edit and add to weekly recruitment activity reports to provide data and insights into the talent pipeline week over week.
  • Take ownership and be accountable for the quality of the talent pipeline for each open role. Working closely with our Social Media and Branding Specialists and Project Administrators, you will ensure that each role is performing and brainstorm new ideas to improve the health of the pipeline where needed.
  • Source candidates through outbound methods including, but not limited to, driving referrals, LinkedIn and Github reach outs and more.
  • Provide strategic insights into the talent pipeline and make recommendations on how to improve the overall sourcing strategy and funnel.
  • Manage and run hiring manager weekly update calls, help schedule candidate interviews and provide feedback and salary market data to key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Co-Founders and the team to continuously improve and evolve our solutions and offering. We want people who have an opinion and fresh ideas!
  • Assist with internal projects as required – we do our best to give our staff the freedom to take on projects related to their growth and professional development including process improvements, consulting opportunities, piloting new technology, meetups, thought leadership and more.

  • Hiring manager and candidate satisfaction. We love data and survey everything, including how our clients rate our service and support and what candidates say about our process and how we treat them!
  • Client retention and relationship building. Your success is our success. We win as a team and grow and scale with our clients.
  • Number of submissions to hiring manager interviews (conversion rates). We value quality over quantity all day long.
  • Offer acceptance rates. You build incredible relationships with candidates and help their career goals come true.

What you bring to our team:

  • We don’t measure qualifications in years of experience, however, you will have demonstrable work experience in a recruiting role with a strong focus on sourcing technical talent like Software Developers.
  • An ability to build and foster trust with candidates, clients and your internal teammates.
  • You have a solid business acumen with hands-on experience working with clients and hiring managers at different levels.
  • A passion for process with outstanding organizational and prioritization skills. You’re not satisfied until your inbox is at zero.
  • You don’t always need to be told what to do, you see gaps and you fill them.
  • An expert-level understanding of Gmail, Google Drive & Excel and experience using an applicant tracking system or ability to learn new technologies quickly.
