Job Description

We are looking for several new graduates! This unique experience will give you the opportunity to join a well established, and solid team that we have working for this client!

In this role, you will be involved in developing various applications for the Canadian Military.

Tasks will include:

  • Study existing PL/SQL code and write PL/SQL code to meet requirements of change specifications.
  • Create, design and debug C++ and PL/SQL programming codes to ensure technical performance.
  • Modify PL/SQL code and C++ codes involved with user reporting to create PDF output for all reporting functionality.
  • Analyze the problems outlined by senior team members in terms of - style and extent of information to be transferred to and from storage units, variety of items to be processed, extent of sorting and formatting of final printed results and
  • Additional tasks as requested by the technical authority in support operations.


  • Looking for candidates with full time work experience, internship experience or school experience with one of the following:
    • C++ using MS Visual Studio for application development.
    • PL/SQL for applications development OR
    • C# using MS Visual Studio for Web application design.
  • Ideally, you will have experience developing software within an AGILE development environment and also testing software within the past 3 years that you have developed.
  • You will need to hold a valid 'Enhanced Reliability' federal government clearance to start, and a Controlled Goods Certificate. Will need to be eligible for the 'Secret' level and will have to get processed fairly quickly. 
  • A degree from an accredited University OR a  diploma for an accredited College with a specialization in Computer Science or Computer Programming plus at least 1 year of demonstrated experience as a Programmer/Software Developer.

Additional Information

  • We are currently looking for local candidates in the Ottawa area. Although our team members work remotely right now, there may be a requirement to start working on-site in the (near) future.
