As a Storyboard Artist, you will be responsible for creating digital storyboards which meet the aesthetic, creative and technical quality requirements of the game. You'll work collaboratively with the Narrative Designers, Game Designers, Cinematics Director, and other artists on the team to conceptualize the story, gameplay, and create the blueprint for all artistic departments to follow.


  • Previous experience as a Storyboard Artist
  • Ability to work digitally (Sketchbook, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Ability to create combat storyboard and transform them into video line art / quick sketch animation
  • Strong drawing skills and sense of design, character and composition
  • Ability to organize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner


  • Collaborate with the Game Designers, Cinematics Director and Narrative Team to create high-quality, dynamic storyboard panels
  • Study scripts to determine artistic interpretation and design boards in conjunction with the Cinematics Director and the Lead Narrative Designer
  • Collaborate with Game Designers to understand and visualize proposed gameplay action and features
  • Be aware of the games progression, and ensure the style and quality of the cinematics are consistently met in board work
  • Communicate progress or issues with the Game Designers, Cinematic Director and Producer to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Communicate ideas effectively and recommend solutions to help interpret the script and gameplay ideas visually
  • Actively participate in department meetings and reviews


  • Understanding of animation; a sense of acting and timing
  • Familiarity with console or PC video games
