Join our team and experience a rewarding and challenging work environment with skilled and supportive teammates.  Calmont Truck Center, Calgary is currently accepting resumes from organized and customer service-oriented individuals who are looking for a career as a Parts Driver / Shipper.

As a Parts Driver, you will work with the Parts Departments to pick up and deliver parts, units, and equipment to customers, branches, wholesale accounts, and vendors.

As a Shipper, is to oversee the loading of goods, prepare bills and invoices, and check incoming shipments against packing slips. 
Other job duties will include, but are not limited to:  Other job duties will include, but are not limited to:

Parts Driver

  • Checking with the Parts & Service Shops every day to determine immediate parts needs.
  • Delivering parts to Parts & Service Shops when needed and distribute to appropriate Technicians.
  • Verifying that invoice match purchase orders for each pick-up.
  • Keeping an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Handling basic maintenance of delivery truck, including filling tank with gas, checking oil, cleaning, and performing inspections.
  • Advising the Parts Manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance.
  • Helping maintain the professional appearance of the Parts & Service Departments.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


  • Check incoming shipments against packing slips.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
  • Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions.
  • Effectively maintain bin storage system. Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
  • Apply return standards to customer returns to properly classify them according to core vendor programs.
  • Effectively maintain files for trucks, UPS, Purolator, air, and other shipments.
  • Maintain shipping, warehouse and stock rooms ensuring clean, neat area and space/shelving usage is optimized. 
  • Operate forklift to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
  • Treat internal and external customers with courtesy, respect, and in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 years of related work experience
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean 5 Year Driver’s Abstract.
  • Forklift Certification considered an asset
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload.
  • Good communication skills.
