Review customer Request for Quotation (RFQ) /Request for information (RFI) and management's requirements to model cost and simulate pricing
Collect, consolidate and analyze data in order to identify the relevant cost drivers and estimate the time, cost, materials, labor, overhead and other costs, as well as capital required to manufacture a product and/or provide a service
Collaborate with internal functions globally and obtain appropriate inputs to estimate costs and prepare financial analysis, as well as provide inputs to the final proposals/quotations submissions to customers
Prepare and present financial analysis including analytics and insights to mid/senior level management regarding cost/price competitiveness, recommendations to make a product or service more cost-effective or profitable, as well as highlighting risks and mitigation tactics
Remain current on overall company goals and specific business unit strategy, value proposition and site capabilities in the areas of manufacturing processes, supply chain management and other services
Possess a thorough understanding of customer contracts’ key terms and conditions, pricing models and reflect appropriately in modeling and simulations
Suggest and generate price model and product price template required by customers
Support the end-to-end proposals/quotation process improvements and tools enhancement
Ensure compliance of relevant process and approval policy and procedures
Build strong relationships and work effectively with team members to manage commitments and timelines to meet proposal/quote quality and timeliness target
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication (English) and organizational (time management) skills are essential
Financial analysis skills including the ability to model and interpret Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow are essential
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to confidently communicate results of the analysis
Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels and functions within the organization
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience Requirements:
5 years in Electronic manufacturing, finance or business development preferably with quotation experience
2-3 years manufacturing cost estimation and/or cost accounting in manufacturing
