Structured Cable Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful and profitable management of structured cabling projects. They will coordinate all interactions with the customer. Including planning, scheduling, communication, change management, estimating, project costs, subcontracts, client relationships, closing using project management tools. Projects are to be executed in compliance with the contract and in accordance with the industry and CBTG standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Plans and organizes workloads, technicians, and sub-contractors according to project plans and specifications.
● Ensures projects and contracts are executed according to budget commitments and proposes alternative solutions and actions when required.
● Measures regional financial performance monthly.
● Ensures compliance and implements company procedure with regards to health & safety and quality.
● Drives a health and safety culture
● Manages sub-contractors.
● Directs and leads by being an inspiring role model and setting examples to the team.
● Resolves operational issues.
● Participates in estimate preparation as required.
● Lead, communicate and live the company’s vision and culture.
● Participates in, develops, and implements strategies.
● Lead and manage resources and equipment to ensure company’s goals are met, while optimizing project productivity.
● Minimum of 5 years of field supervision and project management.
● Relevant Business degree/diploma.
● Must be able to Estimate enterprise – Structured cable projects
● Previous experience working on telecommunication civil projects.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve operational issues.
● Excellent time management skills.
● Available to travel across the region.
● Capable of using organizational expertise and management skills to reach financial and operational goals.
● Ability to identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational issues and problems.
● Capable of developing teams and staff according to company’s vision and goals.
● Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
● Ability to think creatively, work independently and deliver high quality work with minimal supervision and aggressive timelines.
● Integrity, professionalism, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to handle both internal and external communications with tact and diplomacy.
● Exceptional interpersonal skills. Team player with a positive, flexible attitude with the ability to lead and generate a spirit of cooperation while coordinating diverse activities and groups.
● Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
● Familiarity with handling drawings and technical documents.
