Overview
Diversified Transportation was born when construction of the Great Canadian Oil Sands (GCOS) was launched in 1964 and was at the forefront ensuring the transportation of workers throughout its development. In 1967 when GCOS commenced commercial oil sands production, Diversified introduced its daily "employee transportation service" for oil sands employees. The service provided employees with the opportunity to board Diversified motorcoaches at pick-up locations near their homes throughout the City of Fort McMurray to the plant site.
