Call Centre Agent

Location: Prince George, BC

Diversified Transportation is seeking a customer service-oriented Call Centre Agent for our BC Bus North operation in Prince George. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a key position that requires confidentiality, maturity, diplomacy and the ability to work with all levels of staff and the public. This is a full-time opportunity.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Exemplary customer service skills with previous experience in a customer facing / customer service position
  • Previous multi-line high volume call centre experience preferred
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to remain composed, tactful, and professional in all communications
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work with little supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Confident, pleasant and welcoming disposition

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Book travel and process ticket sales
  • Answer phones / respond to client or passenger inquiries
  • Assist drivers with inquiries or concerns
  • Creation of memos and other written documents
  • Filing of invoices
  • Arrange hotel room bookings for drivers
  • Restock and order supplies
  • Data entry for fuel and other information
  • Various other administrative duties as required

Working hours are typically Friday through Tuesday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
