As a Manager in Domestic Tax your responsibilities will include:


*Acting as a leader in the management of our expanding tax practice
*Leading succession and estate planning engagements and compliance engagements
*Reviewing corporate tax provisions and compliance engagements and prepare multifaceted provisions
*Preparing corporate reorganizations including all elections and drafting of instructions as required
*Proactively resolve tax related issues with clients and other staff members
*Analysis and completion of corporate and personal income tax returns
*Identifying and develop new opportunities for additional tax services
*Completing Presentations to clients and advisors regarding matters of interest with respect to taxation issues
*Providing exceptional client service
*Coaching and mentoring junior professional staff

The skills and attributes required for this position include :


*Possess a recognized appropriate accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA)
*Completion of one or more years of the CICA In-depth Tax courses would be considered an asset
*3+ years post designation experience in public practice
*Experience in corporate and personal tax planning and compliance
*Being committed to providing exceptional client service
*Developing and presenting new ideas and conceptualizing new approaches and solutions
*An ability to work independently and as part of a team
*A strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills
