Duties and Responsibilities
  • Position Description & Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow market share:
  • Will have own sales territory and spend approximately 60% of time in outside sales.
  • Plan:
  • Develop & prioritize plans designed to address issues within location; attack growth opportunities and improve Profit year-over-year.
  • Develop employees:
  • Attract, coach & develop future sales leaders for location and the Company.
  • Constantly improve your overall bench strength with every hire.
  • Coach those that are coachable.
  • Address your poor performers.
  • Have high hiring standards ;do not settle for second rate hires.
  • Create a culture of high performance and recognize that performance differentiation with enhanced profit sharing.
  • Mentor & coaching:
  • Coach employees to achieve the maximum possible level of performance.
  • Increase warehouse margin:
  • Manage purchase cost and selling matrixes to improve Warehouse gross margin % year-over-year.
  • Improve sales force productivity measured in total GM $ per year:
  • Annual improvement in market share, sales and gross margin rates in each sales territory.
  • Make the decisions and implement the plans that will create annual growth in the profit sharing available to each employee.
  • Lower operating costs:
  • Manage expenses to the lowest irreducible amount.
  • Improve product management (mix of what you stock).
  • Achieve 95 % service level from Stock for key customers.



Job Requirements

    • Previous bottom line responsibility.
    • University education or equivalent industry experience.
    • Currently a senior sales representative with an account base in the area Or An existing Branch Manager with direct outside sales reports an asset.
    • Must be able to understand and develop the required knowledge regarding the tasks assigned to each employee in his Branch.Must therefore have a working knowledge of the elements related to the following positions:
    • Warehouse.
    • Counter.
    • Inside Sales.
    • Quotations.
    • Purchasing.
    • Outside Sales.
    • Back Office.
    • Enthusiastic,Team player and builder.
    • Decisive.
    • Highly goals driven.
    • Proven results orientation.
    • Customer service orientation.
    • Strong leadership skills.
    • Ability to coach for optimum performance.
