Calian is adding to it's vehicle maintenance services team in support of the Department of National Defence's (DND) activities at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright. We currently have an opening for a full time driver/operator (mechanic's assistant).
Job Description:
The Operator / Driver is responsible for:
Day to day maintenance of trucksChecking tiresBeltsFluid levelsLightsSignals and alarmsReplacing wheelsObtaining of vehicles for the mechanics
Job Requirements
Demonstrate the ability to perform general duties in support of the vehicle technicians in the workshopPossess a valid Class 3 provincial driver's license and have the ability to get and maintain a valid 404 (military driving permit) for the type of vehicles to be drivenPossess or pass courses covering DDC and Safe backing courseExperience with previous use of Canadian Forces Technical Orders or equivalent technical manualsFamiliar with workshop procedures
