Currently, Vigilant Futures islooking for a full-time Software Developer to assist in the research and development of new software programs.
This candidate must be comfortable working within a fast-paced environment. They must possess a keen sense of enthusiasm and attention to detail, as well as a sense of commitment and dedication to our team.
Candidate Requirements:
· Superior Knowledge of C++ programming
· Extensive experience of communication and network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.)
· Experience with the entire SDLC, with an emphasis on Investigation and Analysis
· Excellent knowledge of coding and efficiency for performance
· Familiar with programming for the Microsoft MFC library
· Masters or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
· Minimum 3 years of experience as a software developer
· Experience with Data Analysis Tools
· Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS
· Knowledge of Real time systems
Responsibilities:
· Develop new software meeting given requirements
· Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
· Write, modify, integrate, analyze and test software code
· Use benchmarking tools to evaluate and optimize code
· Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
· Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
· Research and evaluate a variety of software products
