Description de poste 

The Administrative Sales Assistant will be responsible to provide professional customer service and administrative support reporting to the Director of Sales, Consumer Electronics. The right candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving and customer relationship skills with the goal of providing top-notch sales support.  The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a growing division. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Keep projects on schedule by serving as a liaison between various internal departments
  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
  • Assisting with trade show and event planning, tracking budgets and expenses, and communicating with marketing. 
  • Check deadlines on incoming requests and put preliminary work in play
  • Handle all phone inquiries within capacity. 
  • Arrange "callbacks" when necessary and provide back-up materials for callbacks
  • Maintain calendar; ascertain which events require Director of Sales presence
  • Familiar and comfortable in communicating with clients on various levels.
  • When Director of Sales chairs meetings.
  •             o    Prepare agenda in advance

                o    Arrange meeting facilities

                o    Act as recording secretary; prepare action minutes

  • Arrange travel through internal or outside agents
  • Prepare itinerary, co-ordinate product samples and assist in presentations when necessary
  • Take initiative in Director of Sales’ absence
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
 


Exigences 

  • Experience in customer service, administrative or business-related experience.
  • Positive attitude and strong desire to achieve.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
  • Solid understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated technical competence with MS Office - Word 6.0, PowerPoint, and Excel.
