CISN Country 103.9 has a challenging and exciting opening for a full time Promotion Coordinator. We’re looking for that perfect person who is passionate about radio, promotions and event planning! Reporting to the CISN Country 103.9 Promotion and Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting CISN Country 103.9 Promotion and Marketing Director as needed
- Coordinate and Execute street level/on-site promotions
- Assist in updating radio station web components with the guidance of CISN Promotion Director and Web Master
- Maintain and grow Permission Based Email database
- Create, implement and execute promotional concepts to help meet the needs of individual retail clients s
- Assist in the creation, implementation and execution of music driven promotions or other station initiatives as assigned
- Manage prizing inventory and creating prize sheets
- Book promotional airtime and live broadcasts
- Distribute promotion details via Information Sheets to all parties/ departments involved
- Develop graphic artwork for various promotional elements – ie: draw boxes, coupons, and certificates
- Create follow-up reports for clients as requested
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a promotions/event planning environment
- Radio experience preferred
- Highly developed writing skills
- Above average organizational and communication skills
- Superior at multi tasking
- Above average computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and a graphics program
- Experience in creating, implementing and executing (on-air and on-site) a creative radio promotion from start to finish
- Creative, fun, outgoing, team player
- Able and willing to work unusual and long hours
- Passion for radio & promotions
